Meet Britta

Britta with a big doodle in the park

I'm Britta Geisler. I've run Yellow Dog NYC since 2021, after formal training in canine behavior and safe handling at the Oregon Humane Society.

I specialize in the dogs other walkers shy away from — the big ones, the reactive ones, the anxious ones — and I work discreetly for households that need it. Calm, structured, every single walk.

The Specialty

01

Reactive

Leash reactivity and barrier frustration, managed with distance and a plan. I reinforce exactly what your trainer set.

02

Anxious

Confidence built one calm, predictable walk at a time. Routine and enrichment over adrenaline.

03

In-home

Oral & topical meds per your vet, plus attentive, discreet care while you're away.

The Foster Files

Between paid walks, Britta fosters with Muddy Paws Rescue — taking on dogs with behavioral and medical needs and helping them find their people. Most get adopted in under a week.
